Luke 6:1~49
Luke 6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. MC VC
Luke 6:2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? MC VC
Luke 6:3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him; MC VC
Luke 6:4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? MC VC
Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. 13 I MC VC
Luke 6:6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. MC VC
Luke 6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. MC VC
Luke 6:8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. MC VC
Luke 6:9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? 2 I MC VC
Luke 6:10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. MC VC
Luke 6:11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus. MC VC
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 3 I MC VC
Luke 6:13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; MC VC
Luke 6:14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, MC VC
Luke 6:15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, MC VC
Luke 6:16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. MC VC
Luke 6:17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; 2 I MC VC
Luke 6:18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. MC VC
Luke 6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. 6 I MC VC
Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. 6 I MC VC
Luke 6:21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. 4 I MC VC
Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. 6 I MC VC
Luke 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. MC VC
Luke 6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. MC VC
Luke 6:25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. MC VC
Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. MC VC
Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 11 I MC VC
Luke 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 15 I MC VC
Luke 6:29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. 4 I MC VC
Luke 6:30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 9 I MC VC
Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 8 I MC VC
Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 10 I MC VC
Luke 6:33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 4 I MC VC
Luke 6:34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 4 I MC VC
Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 5 I MC VC
Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 25 I MC VC
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 24 I MC VC
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 22 I MC VC
Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? MC VC
Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. 4 I MC VC
Luke 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 6 I MC VC
Luke 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye. 2 I MC VC
Luke 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 8 I MC VC
Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 6 I MC VC
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 8 I MC VC
Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 10 I MC VC
Luke 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: MC VC
Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. MC VC
Luke 6:49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. 4 I MC VC
Luke 13:1~35
Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. MC VC
Luke 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? MC VC
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 2 I MC VC
Luke 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? MC VC
Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. MC VC
Luke 13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. MC VC
Luke 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? MC VC
Luke 13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: MC VC
Luke 13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. MC VC
Luke 13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. MC VC
Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. MC VC
Luke 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. MC VC
Luke 13:13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. MC VC
Luke 13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. MC VC
Luke 13:15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? MC VC
Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 4 I MC VC
Luke 13:17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him. 4 I MC VC
Luke 13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 12 I MC VC
Luke 13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 8 I MC VC
Luke 13:20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 8 I MC VC
Luke 13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 5 I MC VC
Luke 13:22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. MC VC
Luke 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 4 I MC VC
Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 17 I MC VC
Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: MC VC
Luke 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. MC VC
Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. MC VC
Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 2 I MC VC
Luke 13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 8 I MC VC
Luke 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. 9 I MC VC
Luke 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. MC VC
Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. MC VC
Luke 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. MC VC
Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 5 I MC VC
Luke 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. MC VC
Luke 14:1~35
Luke 14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. MC VC
Luke 14:2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. MC VC
Luke 14:3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? MC VC
Luke 14:4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go; 2 I MC VC
Luke 14:5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? MC VC
Luke 14:6 And they could not answer him again to these things. MC VC
Luke 14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them. MC VC
Luke 14:8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; MC VC
Luke 14:9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. MC VC
Luke 14:10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 3 I MC VC
Luke 14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. 9 I MC VC
Luke 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. MC VC
Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 5 I MC VC
Luke 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. 5 I MC VC
Luke 14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. MC VC
Luke 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: MC VC
Luke 14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. MC VC
Luke 14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. MC VC
Luke 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. MC VC
Luke 14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. MC VC
Luke 14:21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. MC VC
Luke 14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. MC VC
Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 2 I MC VC
Luke 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. MC VC
Luke 14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, MC VC
Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 5 I MC VC
Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 13 I MC VC
Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? MC VC
Luke 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, MC VC
Luke 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. MC VC
Luke 14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? MC VC
Luke 14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. MC VC
Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 3 I MC VC
Luke 14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 9 I MC VC
Luke 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 2 I MC VC
